It’s still a little rough around the edges but I’ve completed my first edition of the How-To section of the site with the Digital SLR Stop Motion Filming Setup.

There’s details on the products used, including hardware and software complete with details on the custom construction of a mound for the live video feed that attached on to the back of the SLR camera for previews. In the works are info on assembly, the filming pipeline, budget and related links.

I consider this my little way of added back to the fantastic resources that I’ve used in building an understanding of the film process for stop motion animation.
